sTORYBOARD

Storyboard is  a sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for a film or television production. Example planning a movie you would plan it out using a storyboard showing what you would like it took look like and include. 

 

Is it important to use a storyboard to plan a movie to create a visual of what your movie is going to look like. 

 

History

 Diane Disney Miller explains that the first complete storyboards were created for the 1933 Disney short Three Little Pigs.  Gone with the Wind (1939) was one of the first live action films to be completely storyboarded. William Cameron Menzies, the film's production designer, was hired by producer David O. Selznick to design every shot of the film.
